A mural.
Murals and graffiti are hugely popular forms of public art in Berlin. Like Austin, many Berlin buildings have lovely murals painted across what would otherwise be blank, boring walls. Unlike Austin (and unlike any other city I've been to recently), graffiti is absolutely everywhere. Just about every building has some jagged spray paint design or other on it somewhere.
Anyway, I found this a couple blocks up the road from the apartment. I don't know what it is. Looks peaceful.
