OK, so I was on my way over to see my girlfriend where she works (a place that doesn't have WiFi... yet) and stopped in at Starbucks... I remembered that the other Borders started giving their WiFi away for free... so I booted up and sure 'nuff it works. So here I sit in Starbucks drinking a Pumpkin Spice Latte (with 2 pumps of cimminon (yes, I know I misspelled it)... and using Borders connection... this is gonna hurt T-Mobile which is the provider for Starbuck. Yes, there are plugs to be had... at least in Starbucks.

I stopped in at the Starbucks at the Ingram Festival Center and the 2 networks that popped up were both pay, Starbucks through T-Mobile and Barnes and Noble(NOT BORDERS)was through SBC Freedom link. And the Best Buy network down the block was too weak even right in front of the store. Now that I mentioned it, the 2 signals inside the Starbucks were real weak too.

It works ok, but it cost 4 bucks for 2 hours. Nothing free about that.

ABSOLUTELY No Plugs @ B&NPosted by Tha Billdozer at 2:51pm October 16, 2005 Flag This

So, there I was looking on every wall, every partition, every column in Barnes & Noble for a plug... and would you believe that there is not one single plug to be found in that store ?? you would think that in a store that size that there must be one or two... maybe even over near Starbucks... but, nope... ABSOLUTELY no plugs in B&N.

And to make matters even worse there are only 2 plugs in Starbucks... from now on I an carrying my 3 way with me... that way when I run into a situation like this I can whip it out and connect 4 computers at one outlet.
