BUT, lo and behold I was online... for FREE !!! why, you might ask ?? becuz of Koi Kawa's free Wifi connection... which can be picked up over at Border's without a problem. Well, there is 1 problem... lack of plugs... only 3 in the entire cafe... and unless you get there early you ain't getting one... BUT, if you have a really good battery you can hang out for a couple of hours. I had a solid 4 bar signal. I have an iBook which generally can pick up even the most faint connection, I have never been able to pick up the Koi Kawa wifi at Borders. I have however been able to pick up the Amys Ice Cream connection with out problems. |
