poor ladyPosted by Anonymous at 10:55am April 21, 2008 Flag This

the indian staff turn off the server for wifi unless somebody buy food over 5$. If you are american or europian is ok. she hates asian girl especially. she said to me "leave in 20mins coz you didn't buy over 5$". she is so poor...

changed hoursPosted by Anonymous at 07:55am March 13, 2007 Flag This

Tea Spot opens now at 11am everyday, so when I got there at 10am, I had to scramble to find a Starbucks for some wifi before it opened.

mellow? not so muchPosted by Chris at 1:25pm July 03, 2006 Flag This

The atmosphere of the Tea Spot has changed substantially since its first year (or so). The "grooves" are not so mellow. In fact, mostly obnoxious.
The owner isn't around so much, but he is very friendly and believes in the "customer's always right" philosophy, so feel free to talk to him, give him suggestions and complaints. The tea selection is amazing.

Nice but crowdedPosted by Yaron at 11:25pm November 01, 2005 Flag This

Good ambiance and good tea, but it's crowded in there. There's a whole downstairs area, which looks nice but has a strange smell.

CozyPosted by Josh (www) at 8:00pm October 04, 2005 Flag This

This is a cozy little spot. Well-lit. Mellow grooves on the stereo. It's a bit expensive ($5.50 for an iced tea and a vegan cookie), but I guess this is the big city...
