Good for reading, wifiPosted by Noah Istarealot at 7:39pm July 15, 2007 Flag This

Yes there is free wi fi sometimes, yes the coffee can be good, the fruit can be stale, the bagels are usually fresh and most of the time they will screw up your order, but for the most part are pretty accomadating. A pretty sad attempt to save money with their new coffee cups, taller but smaller - don't insult our intelligence ya aren't savin that much...not a classy move. I've seen the occassional roach (big kind). Don't mean to be negative, just call it as I see it. Worth a visit though if you are coming from out of town, nationally or internationlly, lots seem to enjoy the music and vibe.

Wifi, fair trade coffee, average servicePosted by Jeremy at 7:37pm July 15, 2007 Flag This

The BEST place to work and enjoy great coffeePosted by Ed at 11:07am January 26, 2007 Flag This

GREAT NEWS....Grounded has expanded! They must have added 7-8 new tables and a bar area that works great for laptops. I have no idea where the new space came from. I just walked in one day and wwooaaalllaaahh - there it was! Grounded has always been my favorite place to work, but the lack of seating was the main problem. I'm @ Grounded roughly twice a week and have pretty good luck with seating. The wifi is great as well. Oh, and the lattes are the best in the Village!

Finding a Seat with an Outlet is DifficultPosted by Bad Boy John at 10:36am October 12, 2006 Flag This

Looks good everytime I go in, but it's a pretty small place and there is a very limited number of outlets. I yet to do any work there because I can't ever find a seat near a plug. So, if your battery is screwy and you need to plug-in, beware that you might not find a good place to sit right away.

neat placePosted by Jeff at 4:19pm December 31, 2005 Flag This

Grounded coffee house has by far the best tasting latte in NYC. They know their coffee.
