Great Access for mePosted by Anonymous at 8:30pm May 21, 2006 Flag This

Had a "very good" reading on my computer at this location.
Walked in got my drink and sat at the first table. It was just inside the patio. VERY LOW reading there. Asked and found out the router was behind the bar. So I moved over toward seating area where - I think - the bathroom is and had a VERY GOOD reading. Lots of people plugged into the floor, so watch your step.

An even better alternative....Posted by Charles Montgomery at 04:54am November 17, 2005 Flag This

Or if you've fed up with starbucks and the coffee bean and want to support a cool up and coming cafe...check out this internet cafe called Elysium. It's over on Sahara @ Buffalo (near 24 hr fitness). Best coffee I've had since...well too damn long. I get a bottomless cup and jump on the free wifi (I think it's a T1 line cause it's #$@%'n fast). This place is sweet...plus for every 3 people who see this comment and mentions my name when they go to the internet cafe I get a free smoothie. The brother and sister who run this place are great!
Tell em' monty sent you.

Won't go backPosted by eris (www) at 9:49pm October 26, 2005 Flag This

I could not get any signal inside at all, got iffy signal on the outside sitting area but I have an older laptop so I have limited battery life and there are no outlets outside. Came from a nearby wifi area that I was getting great signal at, and left coffee bean to my normal wifi area with great signal, it's not an issue with my card, roommate with me had same problem.

Access Tip for this venue!Posted by Dave Frandin at 10:42am June 16, 2004 Flag This

This venue is next door to a Starbucks, which, of course has a t-mobile AP which, if you're using XP, your machine will, by default, want to associate with.. Be sure and manually select the 'coffeebean' AP... Free's a LOT better than $6/hr!!!!
