Authentic Italian espresso, great Frappes and Smoothies and awesome croissant sandwiches and soups. This is the nicest coffee cafe I've been to in all of the DFW area. Private rooms and massage chairs. You could spend all day here. Owners very nice and great staff. It was featured nationwide on MSNBC and in Fortune magazine. Located inside of the new, upscale Wal-Mart Supercenter...yeah I know, but it is awesome! Where?Posted by Anonymous at 1:18pm October 06, 2007 Flag This Is this place open? Kicks website updatePosted by Bill Edwards (www) at 10:02pm June 28, 2007 Flag This The kicks website was just updated. I have spoken to the owner and they are getting ready for phase 2. I would probably send them another email as their hosting service provider was switched recently and that may have had something to do with a no response. Go Kicks Coffee!!! Is Kicks dead?Posted by Anonymous at 12:33am June 27, 2007 Flag This Is Kicks Coffee dead? Kicks is awesomePosted by Susan George at 9:08pm June 19, 2007 Flag This Kicks Coffee was one of the best concepts I've seen in quite awhile. Free Wi-Fi was great. We were in Dallas during the holidays and wish we had one here in Minnesota. Nicely donePosted by Steve (www) at 06:59am June 11, 2007 Flag This Kicks literally is the most unique coffee cafe I've seen in quite awhile. Had been down to see it in February and was very impressed. Hope to see more. Kicks is goodPosted by Bill Edwards (www) at 5:43pm February 27, 2007 Flag This Stopped by my favorite spot again...Kicks and found out that they are moving to better locations. I think that is much better to be quite honest. I mean their cafe is just too nice and I think they'll create quite a following doing outside locations. Good for them, I like to see someone else besides Starbucks around here. Keep up the good coffee and awesome espresso! goodbye kicksPosted by Mike L at 06:33am February 17, 2007 Flag This I just went to my favorite coffee shop only to find it gone. I am not terribly surprised, though, every time I went I enjoyed it very much but there were very few people there save for the Walmart employees who took their break there. They seemed to outnumber the patrons. I loved the place but it is gone. this coffee shop is the best i seen so farr!Posted by taj balandabad (www) at 00:45am January 31, 2007 Flag This hi my name is taj i just moved to addison, texas from india. i discovered this coffee shop a couple weeks a ago and know i'm there every time i get a chance i love the penute butter mocha frapps. plus the store super super nice love the t.v.s and the free internet access. i think its too nice for wal-mart! coffee shop in walmart what the $@!#..........Posted by joshua (www) at 00:34am January 31, 2007 Flag This i think kicks coffee is great and wal-mart is not so great, what i'm trying to say is they have a good concept but not in wal-mart they need to compete head to head with starbucks thats where the money is, wal-mart people dont appreciate anything, they always have something to coplain about ssshhhhhhesshh..............they suck! and that coffee shop doesn't belong there, they dont get enough business they need to have all there locations stand alone! plus ONLY THE NEXT BEST THING!Posted by HEBA (www) at 00:18am January 31, 2007 Flag This LET ME JUST START BY SAYING THAT I'VE BEEN A BIG FAN OF THIS COFFEE SHOP SINCE THE FIRST GRAND OPENING WHICH WAS IN 2003. I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!! THEY HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE ENVIROMENT IS AWSOME AND THE PEOPLE ARE GREAT. I REMEMBER MY FAVORITE EMPLOYEE HER NAME WAS MONICA SHE MADE THE BEST EVERYTHING. I THINK THIS CONCEPT IS AMAZING AND THE OWNERS HAVE A GREAT PASSION FOR THIS BUSINESS. THE NEW STORE IS A GOOD LOCATION VERY NICE, ITS GREAT BECAUSE I CAN GO TO CHECK MY EMAILS AND ITS FREE.........P.S. THE TORTILLA SOUP IS THE BEST!!! Kicks Coffee 2-Thumbs Up...Posted by Al Golden (www) at 9:39pm January 29, 2007 Flag This Nice little cafe. Wi-Fi was pretty good. Spent about 3 hours here today. Wish they were open until 2:00 AM instead of 10:00 PM but then maybe there aren't that many people wanting a place to hang out that late. Would suggest that they consider expanding as I think they have a decent concept. Ok website at www.kickscoffee.com for those interested in keeping up with them. Chicken Tortilla Soup at Kicks is Awesome...Posted by Anie (www) at 3:00pm January 28, 2007 Flag This The Chicken Tortilla Soup served at Kicks Coffee Cafe is my mother's recipe. It has been in our family for generations. You cannot go to Kicks Coffee and leave without trying at least a sample of the soup. I personally recommend it - Anie Johnson. Kicks Coffee Cafe where have you been?Posted by Jill Mortenson (www) at 2:22pm January 27, 2007 Flag This Wow! I'm sitting in a Wal-Mart using Free Wi-Fi drinking an awesome White Mocha latte. The only thing I can see missing is a Kicks Coffee gift card. I've been in Plano for the past 6 months and didn't know about this coffee shop until I was looking for free wi-fi. Hey Kicks Coffee, how about doing some advertising? Keep up the good work. Kicks CoffeePosted by Bill (www) at 02:49am January 26, 2007 Flag This Went to Kicks Coffee Cafe after seeing them featured on Channel 8 in Dallas. Pretty nice cafe. Don't know why they are in Wal-Mart though. Spoke to the manager and then the owner and they seem pretty excited that they'll be opening the first Kicks Coffee as a standalone. Nice to see someone else get in the market besides Starbucks. Cool cafe...Posted by Donny at 01:14am January 23, 2007 Flag This I was was with John tonight and yes it is a cool cafe. They do have a website at www.kickscoffee.com for those interested. Met the owner and he's a pretty decent guy. Decent, not burnt, espresso. Awesome little coffee house...Posted by John (www) at 01:10am January 23, 2007 Flag This I don't know if anyone knew they had a website but they do. Great coffee, nice chairs and the Wi-Fi is free and pretty good. sweet spot hot spot!Posted by Wally at 07:23am January 21, 2007 Flag This I've just arrived and I like it already! Definitely better than starbucks, it comes with free wifi as well! Really nice.Posted by Bill Edwards at 8:37pm August 15, 2006 Flag This I thought this was nice. I went to check it out and I really couldn't believe that this coffee cafe has 5 42:" plasma screens, private rooms and Free T-1 internet access. All I can say is Wow! I think if you put this head-to-head with Starbucks you'd be hard pressed to find a reason to go back to Starbucks. Their coffee was excellent and the staff was actually very friendly. Hope they expand into our area down here in Fort Worth. Plano people have it made. Add a Comment |
