Fast wifi connection, no problems connecting. Downloaded 128 MB OS update in a couple of minutes.

This turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. The Brooklyn Public Library has nothing but a web-proxy installed. If you only need to browse the web, then you're fine. But if you want to do real email, instant messaging, IRC, anything else... it's back to the coffee shops I guess.
