Pastries. Breakfast tacos. Critically acclaimed by TX Monthly, AAS & Chronicle. The only way of getting more authentic is to fly to Florence!! Overall WinnerPosted by Jason at 1:53pm October 14, 2005 Flag This I love Teo's. When I need a serious pick-me-up, their Vendetta really hits the spot for me. It's off the beaten path (and well hidden) so I find it a great place to study and do computer-related work. During the lunch hour they sometimes get packed and it gets quite loud - but my iPod drowns most of that racket out. The outside patio is great as well - I actually like it more than the interior. The best part? The owners and the employees. So friendly, so personable. The first time I walked in the owner was talking to a friend at a table and immediately acknowledged me with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. It made me feel like I was an old friend or consistent customer, even on my first visit - and that's hard to come by in any coffeeshop these days. I do wish there were a couch or two inside, or some nice end tables and lamps to add a more home-like feeling to the environment... but you just can't beat the service. The wireless works well too. Teo'sPosted by Ruby at 8:47pm March 30, 2005 Flag This Teo's has more outlets. There are some on the patio (bring long cord) and more inside. I also believe this to be the best tasting coffee in Austin (so far) and the gelato is soooo nice when you've been working on the patio for a few hours. Love Teo's! Babbo's renamed - Teo'sPosted by Anonymous at 12:51am December 09, 2004 Flag This In case your are looking for this spot - it is now Teo's Great spot for business meetingsPosted by Brian Combs (www) at 3:09pm February 28, 2004 Flag This Best espresso in town, without question. Nice central location with ample parking. Solid wireless connection but too few power outlets. TrainerPosted by Anonymous at 5:17pm November 18, 2003 Flag This great wireless access, but bring a charged battery. gelato is awesome and there are a bizilion flavors. the local microroaster espresso and drip coffee rocks, you can keep the imported italian junk! [No title]Posted by Anonymous at 3:57pm November 10, 2003 Flag This Very nice, well-lit place. Has a great patio with an outdoor fireplace. The Wi-Fi is bat-fast with the 54g connection. Only one useful power outlet by a bar facing a wall, and only one bar stool, so bring a full battery. No padded seats. [No title]Posted by Anonymous at 07:42am October 15, 2003 Flag This Great signal; limited power; awesome espresso; local coffee; incredible gelatos; A+ staff; super clean; a bit noisy; good light; neat patio. [No title]Posted by Anonymous (www) at 08:53am September 22, 2003 Flag This Good connection, limited outlets. Chillin'!Posted by Dana at 09:50am September 12, 2003 Flag This Terrific signal, and ice cream and coffee, too! Got a nice strong signal inside and out. Thought the temp was cool inside. When Fall finally arrives, I'm moving outside by the fireplace. Good GelatoPosted by Anonymous at 1:21pm August 28, 2003 Flag This Went there 08/25/03. They have a 54G connection. Place was clean, bright, great gelato, strong espresso. Nice staff. I could only find one convenient place to get power. Kinda hot...need to turn down the temp in there. Add a Comment |
