Mojo's is gone. The guys that ran it opened Epoch on North Loop. Casbah is o.k. Really nice inside. A little expensive and wireless seems ok.

I loved to go to mojos and enjoy the cool atmosphere and study. Since they have moved a cozy rude little place called the morrocan cafe has taken over. They also have a lovely atmosphere there but the people are so rude. I went there all the time. Me and my five month old daughter had been going there since before she arrived and I enjoyed it very much. Like normal I went up to the counter and asked this bald headed morrocan guy for a cup of boiling hot water to heat up my daughters bottle. He gave me a crude look and hestitantly poured the water. He asked me if that was all I needed, I said yes at the moment. He then went on raving how he is so tired of people coming here to and not buying anything. He asked me if I just come here to feed my baby then I need to leave!!! I told him I have been coming in this place for over a year now and asked him if I looked like I loietered at places cause I do not. I told him that he was very rude and it doesnt make sense for me to get hot coffee if it is going to be cold by the time I finished feeding my daughter. I then asked him for his name so I could report him for his rudness and he ignored me. I told him I would never be back and since then I haven't he said good and don't come back. how horrible for business.

This is old news, but just in case people are still checking here, Mojo's closed on December 31, 2005. The word on the street is that something new will be openening in the location (no, not a Starbucks), though I don't know when.

I'm here on a Friday night working on some stuff and it's jsut super cozy. Mellow music, cool baristas, big cushiony sofa. And the wifi works great!

I just tried to cruise in there at 6 am on a sunday and no go. doors are locked. Sign on the door said something about 9 am to 3 am... alas.

I like this place a lot, super cool hangout. I could connect to the network just fine, but couldn't VPN into my work network. :( Not sure if its just not configured for VPN or what? Any ideas?

Yupe, lots of Gothic folks but people are friendly. Comfortable sofa's ... bakery food taste fresh. Only bad thing I found was the bathroom were so nasty!
With the exception of the bathroom this is a nice place to hang out.

Of the coffeeshops near campus, Mojo's is the one that always reliably has good wireless access. Flightpath wireless flickers out about once and hour, and sometimes Quack's and JP's are insanely slow. So there you go.
