Love it. Quite 99% of the time. Lots of outlets and great connection. Baristas are nice if you go out of your way to be nice to them. Great deal on the hummus plate. Love, love, love it. zone out to work and relax at the same timePosted by Anonymous at 10:15am July 28, 2006 Flag This It's the only place where one can chill oblivious to the surroundings and focus freely on your artwork, reading, schoolwork, web project, or whatever. If you ever do decide to lift your head for a break and look around, the Muse has some of the coolest interior design ideas lifted from industrial art. The food choices are limited, but that is good because the few things they do create are created to perfection. The coffee is the draw that will keep you coming for more. It is consistently good. And the chai? - heaven. I have had a pint now and then and I'm so happy they carry Live Oak (yeah local). They have plenty of beer and wine to take your worries away. The music is the BEST song selection I have ever heard - Maybe a little loud in 1 spot, but nobody seems to care because the music is so great. Location is a little creepy, especially at night. Sits almost invisibly between an Ace Cash and cheap pizzaria with nearby a car repair shop, Church's chicken and more. I suppose that is good because I like the number of people. Just right. Smokers and non smokers will love the shaded patio in the back with the cool turtle pond, elevated decks and close stage make this area nice. The inside is so clean, no smoke drift. A good combo of plush and functional seating with gobs of power outlets. Two wireless antennae, front and back make the connection one of the best. The staff behind the bar is so Austin. If you're looking to be greeted with a forced smile and cheesy hello, you'll just have to go to Starbucks. the Muse baristas are so unobtrusive that you may have to gong the little prayer chime bar thingy to get one to come out of the kitchen. However, ask for a coffee and let your eyes behold the art of making a great coffee. Times/atmospherePosted by webguy older now at 11:49pm March 17, 2006 Flag This 8am-midnight M-F 9am-midnight S-S loved itPosted by rebecca at 10:36am December 07, 2005 Flag This definately my favorite coffee shop. connection is very good, great staff, plenty of power outlets, great coffee. Now, with bigger crowds!Posted by Anonymous at 6:07pm September 14, 2005 Flag This I think the secret is out... especially with school back in session, it seems much busier/crowded on weeknights than it ever used to be (sniff). Great Place Most of The TimePosted by N/A at 6:38pm September 13, 2005 Flag This This place has a great "grown up" feel. The patio is beautiful. MePosted by Me (www) at 11:33am April 10, 2005 Flag This Great coffee house. I have run the gamut of coffe houses in Austin, and so far this one is the best. Great atmoshphere, plenty of power outlets for my power hungry laptop, conistent connection and great coffee. My favorite spot is on the deck out back, it felt like an office away from the office. GorgeousPosted by Ruby at 9:27pm March 30, 2005 Flag This Felt like I was in Europe or even better Austin! The man behind the counter barely spoke. Maybe he was ill. But usually when you say "thank you" you get a "you're welcome, enjoy your coffee." Oh well it didn't take away from the great music, table space, outlets, patio, parking, connection. It was a great place to work on what was a rainy day.
